Two people returning to Japan from Wuhan, China on a government-chartered flight refused to be tested for the 2019-nCoV Wuhan coronavirus.
Japanese Prime Minister ABE said:
…authorities “spent a long time trying to convince them following their return” but could not force them to undergo testing as it is not mandatory by law.
ABE called the refusal: “Deeply regrettable.”
And of course many people in Japan are pissed, wondering why the Japanese government didn’t quarantine the evacuees like other countries had.
“This is unforgivable,” wrote one Twitter user. “No more charter flights!”
Three people on the plane tested positive for 2019-nCoV Wuhan coronavirus — with one very important point: one of the infected people was not displaying ANY symptoms! This had been reported by the Chinese Health Minister but of course western health officials have disputed it often saying: “the lack of symptoms in someone carrying the virus has not been confirmed.”
Maybe now they will believe it.
