Martial Law: FEMA Seizing Masks And Other Medical Supplies

FEMA has been seizing medical supplies all across the United States.

In what truly amounts to martial law, bureaucrats in Washington DC and in various state capitals are deciding who lives and who dies. I know that sounds alarmist, but that’s really what it amounts to…

In response to questions from The Times, a FEMA representative said the agency, working with the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Defense, has developed a system for identifying needed supplies from vendors and distributing them equitably.

The representative said the agency factors in the populations of states and major metropolitan areas and the severity of the coronavirus outbreak in various locales. “High-transmission areas were prioritized, and allocations were based on population, not on quantities requested,” the representative said.

But the agency has refused to provide any details about how these determinations are made or why it is choosing to seize some supply orders and not others.

Administration officials also will not say what supplies are going to what states.

Here is the reality…

If a doctor in Truckee, California can’t wear an N95 respirator because it is been rerouted to Los Angeles, his life and the lives of the people living in Truckee aren’t as important. Bureaucrats are saying that the decisions are based on need.

But the simple fact is Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Chicago, Miami, Detroit, Houston… ALL of the large metropolitan areas in the US weren’t prepared!

And don’t think this is just the federal government. State governments are also declaring martial law and stealing private property from private hospitals and making it public property in public hospitals!

The National Guard has been told to remove ventilators and PPE from hospitals in upstate New York and take it to New York City…

Gov. Andrew Cuomo said that he would use the National Guard to take ventilators and protective equipment from hospitals and other health care facilities in upstate New York where they’re not in use to deploy the lifesaving equipment in the New York City area.

“I’m not going to be in a position where people are dying and we have several hundred ventilators in our own state, somewhere else,” Cuomo said on Friday during his daily briefing. “I apologize for the hardship to those institutions — ultimately there is no hardship, if you don’t get the ventilator back, I give you my personal word I will pay you for the ventilator — but I’m not going to let people die because we didn’t redeploy these ventilators.”

He plans to sign an executive order to give the state the power to take equipment from private hospitals, nursing homes, and other facilities. Cuomo objected to a reporter’s question saying the state would “seize” ventilators, instead describing it as “sharing” of resources.

Sharing?

Forced sharing!

And the supplies are going to places like Brooklyn where rules regarding social distancing are being disregarded every day!  Why should these idiots live while others in upstate New York die?
